Senior QA / Test Engineer – SaaS Platform

Location: Pune, India

Shift Timing: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Work Mode: Work From Office (5 Days a Week)

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA / Test Engineer to lead end-to-end quality assurance across web applications, APIs, AI-driven voice workflows, backend services, and cloud integrations.

You will play a critical role in ensuring platform stability, reliability, scalability, and production readiness across all modules of the system.

Mandatory Skill Set

End-to-End Testing

• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive end-to-end test plans across frontend, backend, APIs, voice workflows, and data systems.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and UAT testing across multiple environments.

API & Backend Validation

• Test REST APIs and WebSocket services built on FastAPI and Django using Postman, pytest, and automation frameworks.
• Validate backend workflows, data processing pipelines, and system orchestration.

Database & Data Validation

• Verify data integrity, transcript accuracy, and latency metrics in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Ensure system consistency across distributed services and asynchronous event flows.

Performance & Reliability Testing

• Conduct load, concurrency, stress, and failover testing to validate platform performance at scale.
• Identify bottlenecks and system-level issues impacting reliability and user experience.

Automation & CI/CD Support

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and Python-based frameworks.
• Validate Docker builds, deployment configurations, and release readiness.

Collaboration & Defect Management

• Track, manage, and prioritize defects using Jira, ClickUp, or similar tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams for faster issue resolution.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare detailed QA reports, defect logs, regression summaries, and release sign-off documentation.
• Ensure test coverage and compliance with enterprise quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in QA engineering with strong exposure to backend, API, and system-level testing.
• Strong expertise in REST API and WebSocket testing.
• Hands-on experience with:

• Experience testing applications built on:

  • STLC & SDLC
  • Regression cycles

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
