Overview

About this session

In this short, a customer from the records and document management space explains where AI voice agents fit in their operation. Alongside inbound document and call management, the business makes outbound calls to find out where records are and to get them released, and that is where AI agents add the most value.

The AI can emulate a person well enough to handle those calls, and it connects call data back into the tools used to manage handling times, resolution, and duration. Most of all, it can sit on hold for half an hour without complaint, time no human agent should spend waiting. The clip is designed for operations leaders evaluating outbound voice AI.

Key takeaways

What comes out of it

  • Built for outbound. AI agents call out to locate records and get them released.

  • Sounds like a person. The agent emulates a human caller satisfactorily.

  • Connected data. Call outcomes and handling times flow back into existing tools.

  • Hold time is no problem. AI can wait 30 minutes so agents don’t have to.

00:00:00.00 So inbound document management, inbound call management, and then on part of our business, we do outbound calling as well. And that's where I think especially things like CallBotics, again, has all those power of actually calling out and identifying where the records are at a location or priming in the pump for getting that information released. The strength of being able to use AI tools for that is that it's got that ability to emulate a person satisfactorily. But there's also all of the data and the connectivity of that data back into the tools that you want to use to manage call handling times.

00:00:33.34 Whether it was resolved satisfactorily, how long did it take? AI can sit on the phone for half an hour. It doesn't care, right? You don't want a human agent to sit there for half an hour waiting to get somebody to pick up the phone or whatever.
