Overview

About this session

In this short, Orvera AI Founder and CEO Ali Merchant answers a question about keeping AI from dehumanizing the customer experience. AI agents can hold natural, empathetic conversations, even in distressing moments such as a first notice of loss call after a home is hit by a storm, where customers get clarity and fast answers.

Ali explains that customers do not mind talking to an AI agent as long as it understands them, respects their time, does not make them repeat themselves, and resolves the issue quickly. When a person is needed, the handoff to a human agent is smooth and carries the full context. The clip is designed for CX leaders in insurance and other sensitive service areas.
